Great news! Timon Holden has successfully passed his Vulnerability Assessment Plus (VA+) exam and is well on his way to becoming a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor.

Timon has been a valued member of the Seriun team for almost three years now and is already a highly skilled Cyber Essentials Assessor. The VA+ exam has been developed by The Cyber Scheme, NCSC and IASME and is the second of three exams required to attain the title of a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor.

But what exactly does it mean to be a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor and why is it so important? The Cyber Essentials scheme is a government-backed certification that helps organisations demonstrate they have implemented the necessary security controls to protect their systems against cyber-attacks. A Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor is a highly skilled professional who can assess an organisation’s cyber security, verify they have all the measures in place to protect theirs and their customers data and award them with the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

Timon said: “I am thrilled to have passed the VA+ exam and I am very keen to continue my journey towards becoming a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor. The field of cyber security is constantly evolving, and I want to stay ahead of the curve to help organisations protect themselves against cyber crime.”

We are proud to see Timon’s hard work and dedication paying off and look forward to updating you when he is a fully fledged Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor. No pressure Tim! 😉
