Marketing Apprentice

Location: Barrowford

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and gain significant experience along with a certified Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship with NLTG.

We are looking for a digital marketing apprentice to join the Seriun team to support our Marketing Manager at our Barrowford office.

To suit this role, you must be a creative, outgoing person, be results-driven and have excellent communication skills. You will help promote the Seriun brand and brand values using a multi-channel approach and will assist in the successful implementation of digital marketing campaigns.

You will have your finger on the digital pulse with a reasonable understanding of web design and development as well as fundamental SEO techniques. Having a creative flair you should have experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

The role is varied and will include

  • Creating content for Seriun’s website
  • Assisting in email campaigns and communication
  • Social media marketing
  • Creating blogs
  • Designing graphics and adverts using Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Using Google Analytics to monitor Seriun’s website performance
  • Liaising with customers to generate testimonials and gather information for case studies
  • Writing PR stories and disseminating to media partners
  • Supporting and attending events
  • Building relationships and rapport with the team as well as external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners, etc.)

The apprenticeship
The Level 3 Digital Marketer course focuses on developing skills and competencies which will be directly applied at Seriun. The course will teach you a range of technical abilities, marketing specific knowledge and understanding, and fundamental skills, attitudes, and behaviours.

Course entry critria: Level 2 English and maths.
End Point Assessment: Once you have completed the course, you will undertake an End Point Assessment, which consists of 4 elements:

  • Summative Portfolio: Present evidence from real-work projects, illustrating the application of all the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the programme.
  • Synoptic Project: A pre-defined, business-related project designed to test the learner against a selection of the knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • Employer Reference: The employer’s perspective on performance and how they have applied their knowledge, competencies and behaviours in work projects.
  • Interview: A structured discussion between the learner and independent assessor, focusing on the portfolio, synoptic Project and employer reference. This will provide an opportunity for further evidence to be gathered and/or evidence to be explored in more detail.

Service Desk Engineer

Location: Barrowford or Manchester City Centre

This is an opportunity for a dynamic Service Desk Engineer to join a fast growing IT Managed Service Provider.

The role will be based within our Service Desk, working on tickets and directly assisting customers. Initially office-based with scope to work on-site.

Due to expected growth within the business, the suitable candidate will progress into full 2nd line, 3rd line and project work in the future. We take a proactive view on progressing employees careers and don’t restrict service desk engineers purely to ticket work.

3rd Line Engineer

Location: This role is based either in our Barrowford office, Manchester office and will have a flexible working option after probation based on the company flexible working policy.

This is an opportunity for a dynamic Senior Service Desk or 3rd Line Engineer to join a fast growing IT Managed Service Provider. The role will be based within our Service Desk reporting to our Service Desk Manager, working on tickets and directly assisting customers.

Initially office-based with scope to work on-site through site visits, assisting with project work and prescheduled onsite maintenance days. This will also progress into assisting the project team with project delivery.
Due to expected growth within the business, the suitable candidate will progress into standalone project work in the future. We take a proactive view on progressing employees careers and don’t restrict Service Desk Engineers purely to ticket work.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving customer issues via a ticketing system, phone and email
  • Detailed and complex tickets that have been escalated from the Service Desk
  • Supporting Service Desk Engineers and providing knowledge transfer where required
  • Ability to work free standing and proactively look for opportunities to provide better service to the customer base
  • Working with customers on complex issues that require attention to detail and a high level of customer service understanding
  • Working to Service Level Agreements
  • Working on complex alert and monitoring tickets to proactively prevent downtime

SharePoint Systems Engineer
