Welcoming Lucas Ryan to Seriun as Service Desk Engineer

We are delighted to welcome Lucas Ryan to the Seriun team as our new Service Desk Engineer.

Lucas is originally from Rossendale and continues to call Rossendale home. He currently lives with his parents and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends, getting out to events whenever he can.

Professionally, Lucas has built a strong foundation in IT through his apprenticeship route. He achieved a Distinction in his Level 3 Support Technician Apprenticeship and went on to complete a Level 4 Networking Apprenticeship. His journey into the industry began after completing his BTEC course at college, where he discovered a genuine interest in technology and knew this was the career path he wanted to pursue.

Before joining Seriun, Lucas worked at Crown Oil as part of the IT Group Support team, where he gained valuable hands-on experience supporting users and managing IT systems.

At Seriun, Lucas takes on the role of Service Desk Engineer. His day-to-day responsibilities include resolving support tickets, responding to user queries, and ensuring the smooth running of service desk operations. He plays a key role in delivering reliable and efficient support to our customers.

Looking ahead, Lucas is keen to continue developing his skills with the long-term goal of progressing into a third line role. He is motivated to expand his technical knowledge and grow within the IT field.

Outside of work, Lucas is a passionate football fan and a Burnley FC season ticket holder, regularly attending home games and travelling to away fixtures. He also enjoys music festivals and is looking forward to attending Parklife and Creamfields this year. When it comes to food, he never says no to a good donner kebab. One of his favourite travel experiences so far has been visiting Cyprus.
