Seriun Proudly Sponsors Accrington Wildcats Under 10’s Rugby

We’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Accrington Wildcats Under 10’s rugby team. What makes this sponsorship even more special is the fact that one of our very own – dedicated technical support engineer Marc Enright – volunteers at the club, along with the other volunteers, who tirelessly give their time and effort to support the development of the team while supporting the local community. Also Marc’s son, Jaiden, is a rising star on the team, amongst all the Wildcats amazing team players.

Celebrating Success on the Field

The Accrington Wildcats Under 10’s have been making waves on the rugby field, and we’re thrilled to be a part of their journey. Just recently, they achieved a remarkable milestone by securing their first-ever victory against the formidable Moorfield Tigers on June 25th. Their win is testament to their commitment, dedication, and relentless hard work both on and off the pitch. It’s fantastic to see these young athletes grow, as individuals and as a team, through a connected passion of rugby.

A History Rooted in Community Spirit

Founded in August 2007 by a group of Rugby League enthusiasts, the Accrington Wildcats have played a significant part in encouraging the sport’s growth and development in the region. With three teams in their ranks, they proudly represent Accrington on a larger stage, competing against clubs from across the North West, including iconic rugby heartlands like Wigan, St. Helen’s, Warrington, and Widnes.

Investing in the Future

Here at Seriun we recognise the importance of developing young talent and promoting values like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Through our sponsorship, we aim to provide the Accrington Wildcats Under 10’s with the resources and support they need to continue their journey towards excellence.

Acknowledging Achievements Beyond the Rugby Field

But there’s more to this team than just rugby. The Wildcats recently participated in the Accrington Soapbox challenge organised by Amazing Accrington, coming 17th place out of 32 teams in their home-made rugby-ball inspired kart. What’s more.. they didn’t just race; they owned the show by winning the “Best Dressed Team” award, which we are particularly proud of as they were wearing their Seriun branded rugby team shirts. This achievement demonstrates the Wildcats’ commitment not only to their sport but also to the spirit of creativity and innovation.
